What’s New?

Introducing Support for Single-Sign-on (SSO) Feature

With this release, Motadata AIOps brings support for Single-Sign-On (SSO) with the SAML 2.0 standard security protocol. The Single Sign-On (SSO) feature in Motadata AIOps allows users to log in using external identity providers like OneLogin, Okta, Azure AD, and 1Kosmos.

Improved Log Only Agent

The Log Only Agent now offers enhanced functionality. It can be registered without requiring any licensed monitors, making it more flexible and cost-effective for users. This allows for efficient monitoring of log data.

Introducing Alert Pop-ups and Quick View

Motadata AIOps now displays Alert Pop-ups for triggered alerts. The Alert Pop-up will be stacked and will reveal all recent alerts when clicked for a quick view to the users. The pop-up will be displayed at the top of the screen whenever an alert is triggered.

With this release, users will be able to view detailed link information when hovering over a link in Network Topology. The hover window will provide a quick insight into source and target monitors along with the interface speed, traffic utilization, and other key details. Along with that, users can quickly jump to the monitor page or open the interface drill-down menu by clicking on the respective options in the hover window.

Backup Profile Enhancements

With this release, users will be able to manually trigger the ConfigDB backup. Additionally, users will now have the freedom to choose an individual Datastore type when backing up ReportDB.

Trap Enhancements and UI Changes

Motadata AIOps now has a significantly improved Trap Policy with enhanced filtering capabilities, allowing for more granular control over alert generation and clearance. You can now also view raw trap messages for deeper analysis. Additionally, the default SNMP Trap Profile is now customizable to suit your specific needs.

OOTB Support for Cisco ISE and Firepower

Motadata AIOps offers out-of-the-box template support for Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) and Firepower. This will help users better manage and monitor ISE and Firepower environments.

OOTB Support for Cisco Meraki VPN Plugins

This release brings out-of-the-box (OOTB) support for Cisco Meraki VPN Plugins. Users will be able to monitor the health and performance of Meraki VPN metrics.

Introducing Support of Pre/Post Filters for Monitor API Query

With this release, Motadata AIOps introduces the ability to pre/post filter the Performance Metrics using API requests. This will allow users enhanced granular control over monitoring performance data of their devices.

Improved Pre-Filter in Availability Policy

This release improves the Pre-Filter feature incorporated in Availability Policy. Motadata AIOps will auto-resolve the “Value” field based on the “Counter” and “Operator” selection of the user.

Monitor Uptime Details

Users will now be able to view total uptime details of all Monitors with this release. The uptime details will be available on each Monitor’s Summary page.

Monitor ID Details Now Available through API

With this release, users will be able to fetch monitor ID details using the API. This will facilitate better health and performance monitoring of the device.

Enhanced Interface Grids and Inventory Reports

With this release, users will be able to add an additional column consisting of the actual interface name in the interface grids across Monitor template and Inventory.

Enhanced Group Management

Motadata AIOps brings several group management enhancements with this release. A Group will be auto-assigned to the user that has created a Group. Additionally, only a user with administrative privileges can delete a group to ensure there are no unauthorized changes.

Bug Fixes

Access Point Information Discrepancy Now Fixed

Fixed an issue where some users were not able to view the details regarding Access Points on the Monitor screen while details were being present in Motadata AIOps.
