What’s New?

Metric Plugin Enhancements

With this release, Metric Plugin module has received significant updates. Motadata AIOps now allows cross device plugin creation which helps users to add metrics with a different protocol than the one used to discover a device. Additionally, users will be able to test monitors individually or in bulk and can also view the test status and execution output for the monitors.

OOTB Support for Forecast Reports

With this release, Motadata AIOps brings out-of-the-box (OOTB) support for Forecast Reports.

Support for Live Trap Viewer

Motadata AIOps, with this release, introduces the Live Trap View feature. Users will be able to view all incoming Live Traps along with the translated and Raw Trap message.

Real-time Update of Alerts in Widgets and Alert Explorer

Alerts will be now updated in real-time for Alert and Availability Heat Map, Alert and Availability Gauge, and Active Alert widget. Respective severity and color will also be changed accordingly.

Tag Support for Discovery through CSV

Users will now be able to define Tags column along with the IP for devices when performing Discovery through CSV across all categories, which will be assigned to the monitors after the provisioning. Users will also have the option to add multiple standalone tags and Key:value pair-based tags to individual monitor.

Real-time update of Severity for Topology

Motadata AIOps, with this release, brings real-time updates for the Topology screen. This improvement will also update the color of links depending on their availability state.

Alert Policy Creation Based on Tags

With this release, Users will be able to create Alert Policy by selecting Tags as Source filter. The Alert policy will apply to all monitors with the selected Tag(s). If a user selects an Instance level Tag, the Policy will apply to all qualifying instances with the same Tag.

Trap Interface Status Correlation

With this release, if a Link Down Trap message is received from a monitored event source, the interface status will get updated. The correlation will also influence availability calculation.

Cisco SDWAN Counters Available for Heat Map Widget

Users will now be able to create Availability Heat Map widgets for Cisco Catalyst Interface, Cisco Catalyst Tunnel, and Cisco Catalyst TLOC by using the counters available in Map by field.

OOTB Support for Extreme Stack Switch

With this release, Motadata AIOps brings out-of-the-box (OOTB) support for Extreme Stack Switch.

Disk Mounting Details Available in System Disk Utilization Widgets

With this release, users will be able to view disk mount information on the system disk utilization widget for Linux Servers. The information will be available for both agent-based and agent-less servers.

Addition of Acknowledge by Column on Alert Drill-down Screen

With this release, Motadata AIOps introduces an additional column of ‘Acknowledged By’ in the Alert drill-down screen. Users will be able to view information regarding who has acknowledged the alert.

Custom Monitor Name

With this release of Motadata AIOps, users will be able to edit the Agent Monitor name from the Agent Monitor screen under the Agent Monitor settings. Motadata AIOps will provide a default name at the time of first provision, which users can edit later.

Enhanced and Improved Process Visualization

With this release, The Process visualization screen has been enhanced. Users will now be able to view the Process command by hovering over the process name. Additionally, a ‘Process command’ field has also been added in the Process drill-down screen.
